Vivian Yi Bin Shou-Litman AP., DAOM is a licensed acupuncture physician and a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, certified by National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In 2004, she graduated from a Master’s degree program from Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM). After ten years of clinical practice, she decided to pursue the first accredited clinical Doctoral Degree program on the east coast of United States offered by ATOM. The program’s intensive training in TCM Internal Medicine has greatly expanded her clinical knowledge and advanced her clinical skills. She earned her Doctoral degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) in spring 2016.
Vivian Yi Bin was born and raised in Shanghai, China, in a traditional Chinese family that encourages scholastic values and eastern virtues. Her family name SHOU symbolizes Longevity in Chinese, which reflects Taoist health and longevity principles that was deeply rooted in her family tradition. Growing up she was deeply influenced by the valuable teachings of her late grandfather Dr. Ru Chun Shou, who accumulated vast knowledge and clinical skills of integrative medicine through life time practice. Today Yi Bin carries on the eastern family tradition and incorporates Taoist principle of Yang Shen (Nourishing Life) in her natural healing practice.
While treating patients with a great variety of diseases, Dr. Shou-Litman devotes herself to the special interest of women’s health care. Her gentle and restorative approach towards health and wellness has helped many women of all ages to regain health and balance. She is a certified Fertility Acupuncture Specialist of Hun Yuan Method. She continues to train with renowned specialists in the treatment of infertility.
